XIth IOA CONGRESS Antwerp, Belgium: 28-31 May 2008

The Belgian Orthoptic Association, celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2008, takes great pleasure in hosting the XIth International Orthoptic Congress in Belgium, the heart of Europe.
We will organise this congress from May 28 until May 31 in Antwerp, the largest city of Flanders and one of the main ports of the world. Situated on the banks of the river Scheldt, it is a vibrant and lively city with an eclectic mix of old and new, ultra fashion and brilliant diamonds.
The congress will take place in the Flanders Congress and Concert Centre situated in the historic and green centre of Antwerp, next to the central station. It offers ten well-equipped halls to seat 50 to 2000 persons, a superb art nouveau decor and it is located in the Antwerp Zoo, where all participants will have free entrance. It is easily accessible by road, train and plane and within walking distance of numerous
hotels of all categories.
