Paediatric Orthoptic Award

The Paediatric Orthoptic Award was established to commemorate the work and commitment to paediatric orthoptics of three orthoptists from Western Australia, Bev Balfour, Megan Lewis and Alison Terrill. It is awarded to the best paediatric paper presented at the OA Annual Scientific Conference.

Eligibility

The orthoptist must be a member of the Orthoptics Australia. The submission may have been researched while the candidate was a student. The paper can either be a sole author paper or be a multiple author paper. In the case of multiple authorship only one author is eligible to submit and has to be able to provide proof of majority contribution. Rapid fire presentations do not meet the eligibility criteria for this prize.
