The Orthoptic Association introduced Upskill in 2005 exclusively for OAA members. Upskill aims to deliver intensive courses on various aspects of orthoptic clinical practice and workplace related topics. In general, courses include the opportunity to learn new or review existing skills and emphasise the learning of practical skills as well as covering underpinning theoretical knowledge. Places are limited to also allow participants opportunity for "hands on" and individual attention.
