The aim of the talk will be to discuss a systematic approach to assessing nystagmus, features of infantile nystagmus, red flags and when to investigate and what treatment options to improve symptoms including vision or abnormal head posture.
 

Presenter: Dr Anu Mathew

Dr Anu Mathew completed the Victorian training programme and was awarded the Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists in 2015. She has undertaken further advanced training in strabismus and paediatric ophthalmology at the Royal Children’s Hospital, the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital and at Moorfields Eye Hospital, London. Dr Mathew currently has public appointments at the Royal Children’s Hospital, the Royal Melbourne Hospital and the Royal Women's Hospital. Her surgical expertise covers most areas of strabismus and paediatric ophthalmology.  
 

Registration is free but essential for catering purposes. Open to orthoptists, ophthalmic nurses and technicians.

AOB approved activity accredited for 2 CPD points/seminar. Includes light refreshments.
