Welcome! Membership fees are based on a loyalty program. Membership includes three levels: Gold, Silver and Bronze; new members begin at the Bronze level and progress towards Gold with each successive year of membership renewal. Those who retain their membership for longer will be rewarded through a discounted membership rate. Note: there are no discounted rates for Overseas Associates. However, Students who are members for more than two years are eligible for discounted rates as graduates and Gold membership.
The Membership year is from 1 July – 30 June (Australian financial year). New members who join after 1 February each year now pay 100% of the prescribed fee for the relevant category and their membership is current until 30 June the following year - that is, receive up to 5 months' free membership.
Please Note: Membership applications undergo an approval process which may take up to two businss days after receiving all information. Once approved you will receive an email with your username and password for the OA site, which will also enable member prices for event registrations.
