Glaucoma Australia has launched its new patient support journey. In consultation with the eye care industry Glaucoma Australia has developed a new intervention and education program designed to increase adherence and reduce vision loss. For eye health professionals, please watch a video (8 minutes) explaining how the new referral pathway works, plus how and why eye health professionals should refer their patients to Glaucoma Australia.
Glaucoma Australia has recently produced 16 new patient centred videos which we would love to share with you and your patients. There are 10 patient experience videos and 6 patient educator videos which are aimed at improving early detection, improving treatment adherence and reinforcing the ‘glaucoma runs in families’ message. Each video runs for approximately 1 minute and can be viewed with and without subtitles. You can download these FREE resources here.

Glaucoma Australia has developed a risk calculator to help you assess your patients' risk of developing glaucoma based on age, gender, ethnicity, family history of glaucoma and other health issues such as diabetes and myopia.
