OA has active State Representitives and Branches across Australia that contribute to the success of Orthoptics Australia. Key purpose of State Branches and Representatives include:
Promote the profession of orthoptics
Advocate for local OA members
Promote value of membership with OA
Act as a point of liaison between OA and relevant state-based organisations, groups, and committees
To coordinate and deliver education and networking opportunities for local orthoptists in collaboration with the Continued Education Committee.
Sate Representitives and Branches operate through the efforts of a committee of local members who volunteer their time.
