At Guide Dogs we are more than dogs. We provide vital support across a range of services for Victorians with low vision or blindness. We work to ensure people with low vision or blindness are active and involved members of the community by teaching practical skills to help children and adults reach their personal potential: regardless of when or how they became affected by low vision or blindness.
We do this by offering personalised training and support programs to make Client’s lives more independent. The full list of services is available online and include:
Guide Dogs services are provided at no direct cost to Clients on an ongoing basis. Services can be covered through Government funding, or through generous philanthropic funding. Whatever the avenue, we ensure anyone with low vision or blindness has the support they need.
