Clinical Conversations is a continuing education program featuring monthly discussions on intriguing case studies, rare ocular conditions, published research papers, and ongoing research projects. These online events are held monthly and are free for members, with non-members also welcome to participate.
These events bring together experts in diverse research and clinical fields to share their knowledge, insights, and advancements. Featuring engaging presentations and discussions, they provide valuable opportunities for professional development and staying updated on the latest scientific and clinical practices.
The Orthoptics Australia Self Directed Journal Club is a free, members-only initiative. The aim of the club is to promote evidence based orthoptic practice and critical thinking in our working environment. It provides a flexible option for gaining CPD points; the Australian Orthoptics Board awards two points per journal article assessment completed.
A new article and set of questions are provided each month and promoted in the OA eNewsletter. You can find the articles with their questions through the Online Shop and they can be completed at your convenience.
If you would like to be involved in facilitating the club or have an article suggestion please contact the CEC committee via execofficer@orthoptics.org.au
