Join OA

The OA Membership year is from 1 July – 30 June (Australian financial year). New members who join after 1 February each year pay 100% of the prescribed fee for the relevant category and their membership is current until 30 June the following year - that is, receive up to 5 months' free membership. Further detail on the OA Membership categories is available here.

Membership applications undergo an approval process which may take up to two business days after receiving all information.  Once approved you will receive an email with your username and password for the OA site, which will also enable member prices for event registrations.

If you are already a member - DO NOT use this page to renew. Renewals are issued in May each year and due on or before 1 July.  Existing members can renew their membership online from the My OA Profile page. 

*Student membership is FREE to purchasers of the Orthoptics Australia standard or premium Clinical Essentials Pack.  Purchase your pack, then apply for membership online using the DISCOUNT CODE provided after purchase.  Your membership will be approved once all requirements are complete and we confirm eligibility to use the code.
