Application for Ordinary Supported Membership

Ordinary members who satisfy all criteria for Ordinary membership and provide appropriate evidence that they satisfy one of the following criteria are now eligible for the reduced rate Ordinary - Supported sub-category:

• Are on planned parental leave for a period of more than six months, OR
• Are enrolled in a full-time postgraduate study in orthoptics (Master by research or Doctoral degree only) and are not engaged in eye health related employment for more than an average of 16 hours per week, OR
• Are a non-practising practitioner (retired, career break, sabbatical, unemployment or overseas travel) for a period of more than six months. 

Ordinary-Supported members are eligible to receive all the benefits of membership, and retain voting rights.

Application is initially via the form below, to ensure all criteria are met.  Please submit your request for consideration - a response will be provided within five (5) working days.
